#aSaviorIsBorn

11/30/15

Hey y'all! Sorry I didn't write anything last week! Tbh, the past
couple of weeks haven't been too eventful! But yesterday a new
Christmas initiative was launched. It's called #aSaviorIsBorn. There
is an amazing video on christmas.mormon.org that y'all should share on
Facebook. It is very powerful and really makes you ponder why it is
such an important thing that we have a Savior. I am so thankful for
Christ and his atonement, the sacrifice he made specifically for ME.
AND FOR YOU. AND FOR ALL OF US. He suffered for our pains and for our
sicknesses and our afflictions. Our heartache, our scraped knee,
literally every pain. Why? Because he loves you. He wants you to feel
joy and to be happy. And because he felt what we felt he can know how
to help us and he can lift our burdens and bring us joy. If you don't
know that God and Jesus Christ love you and that God sent his Son so
that we can be saved, then please discover why. Ask me! Go to
Mormon.org! Anything. Just please, especially during this Christmas
season, really think about what we are celebrating and how it has or
can bless your life.

We have 3 new investigators that are so prepared for the gospel. Just
tonight we taught 2 extremely powerful lessons. The spirit did all of
it. He was testifying to the people we were teaching, so powerfully.
It was amazing. We have 4 more progressing investigators and 4 on
date. I can't wait to see what the future holds. Especially with the
new Christmas initiative.

On Sunday we are going to the Christmas devotional at the conference
center! I am so excited to be in the same room as the mouth piece of
God, our prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know that he is the true and
living prophet on the earth and that he is directed by God to direct
us. I know that what he teaches is the teachings of God and that if we
follow the commandments and listen to the prophet that we can find
true happiness. I know this church is true.

I love and miss you all so much. Pray for me.
