I spoke to several sister missionaries here in the past two days. Hearing about their experiences and how much they love it here makes me even more excited for my mission.
Our Utah visit is coming to a close! And I'm so sad :( but it has been amazing. It has been exactly what I needed. I'm glad I had this time to spend with my family before I left on my mission. We have gone on several little adventures :) For example, on Wednesday we took a skilift at Sundance up to enjoy the beautiful view. Thank you David and Geeta for inviting us!! It was breathtaking. And I'm usually scared of heights but I loved this.
Washington is beautiful as well but there's something different about Utah that I love. I love how close the mountains are and the sun :)
On Thursday I got to meet Maryn!
We went shopping for a while then went to get our nails done. It was so fun just talking and getting to know each other. We talked about...basically everything. What we were most excited about, things we were scared of on our mission, plans after out missions and....boys of course :P I hope these next 2 months fly by! I feel like every blog post I make, I say the same thing over and over again: "I'm so excited for my mission!" Haha but it's true!
I just want to make a quick shout out. I love everyone that has been so supportive of my mission, especially my family but also my friends from school that aren't members of the church. I know that it may be hard for them to understand why I would leave for a year and a half just to teach about church but all of them have been 100% supportive and I'm so thankful for the amazing people I have in my life :) even though I want to leave on my mission right now, I will still miss a lot of people.
You all better write me!
Well, I'm going to go enjoy the rest of temple squares. I suggest that if you haven't already visited temple square that you do so, SOON!
